JAMAL ALTARAIREH

Jamal is a Financial Consulting Partner at BDO Jordan. He has over 33 years of experience in accounting and financial management. He has extensive experience in the fields of IFRS conversion, accounting, external and internal auditing. His long experience in consulting includes addressing financial procedures, business plans, and financial feasibilities.

He has accumulated an array of skills throughout his career, in areas such as management, communication, banking, financial analysis, and risk assessment. Jamal has also taught courses in International Accounting Standards (IFRS & IPSAS), Forensic Accounting, Advanced Cost Accounting, Advanced Financial Analysis, JCPA, CIA, ACPA, and CMA courses, among others.

Jamal previously worked as Senior Auditor/ Expert at the Audit Bureau of Jordan, Inspector at the CBJ, and Supervisor in the Internal Audit Department at the Bank of Jordan, where he led several fraud investigations. He was also an instructor and Head of the Accounting Division at the University of Petra.
